Mount Back

Mount Back (

54°29′S 36°7′W / 54.483°S 36.117°W / -54.483; -36.117Coordinates: 54°29′S 36°7′W / 54.483°S 36.117°W / -54.483; -36.117) is a peak, 650 metres (2,130 ft) high, located 1.5 nautical miles (3 km) south of Doris Bay, South Georgia. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Squadron Leader , Royal Air Force, assistant surveyor with the of 1964–65, who assisted in the survey of this peak.[1]
