Mount Chiang

Mount Chiang (

77°58′S 162°39′E / 77.967°S 162.650°E / -77.967; 162.650Coordinates: 77°58′S 162°39′E / 77.967°S 162.650°E / -77.967; 162.650) is a distinctive mountain, 2,900 metres (9,500 ft) high, having the appearance of a gablelike projection from the north part of Chaplains Tableland, Royal Society Range, in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1992 after , Manager, Polar Operations Section, Division of Polar Programs, National Science Foundation, from 1991.
