Mount Colbert

Mount Colbert (

86°12′S 153°13′W / 86.200°S 153.217°W / -86.200; -153.217Coordinates: 86°12′S 153°13′W / 86.200°S 153.217°W / -86.200; -153.217) is a mountain rising to 2,580 metres (8,460 ft), 1.5 nautical miles (3 km) east of Mount Borcik and 1 nautical mile (2 km) south-southwest of Mount Stump in the southeast Hays Mountains, Queen Maud Mountains. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in association with Mount Stump after , geologist, Arizona State University, logistic coordinator and field associate with on six United States Antarctic Research Program expeditions to the Transantarctic Mountains, 1970–71 through 1981–82, including the area of this mountain.[1]
