Mount Mason
Mount Mason (84°43′S 169°48′W / 84.717°S 169.800°WCoordinates: 84°43′S 169°48′W / 84.717°S 169.800°W) is a peak, 815 metres (2,670 ft) high, at the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica, surmounting the northern extremity of Lillie Range. It was discovered and photographed by the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928–30) and named for , a radio engineer who wintered with that expedition at Little America.[1]
