Mount Thurman

Mount Thurman (

84°42′S 170°51′W / 84.700°S 170.850°W / -84.700; -170.850Coordinates: 84°42′S 170°51′W / 84.700°S 170.850°W / -84.700; -170.850) is the highest summit (780 metres (2,560 feet)) in Bravo Hills along the edge of Ross Ice Shelf, located between the mouths of Gough and in Antarctica. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander , U.S. Navy, of Staff for Operations, U.S. Naval Support Force, Antarctica, 1963.
