Muhammad Hashim Dogar is a Pakistani politician who is the current Provincial Minister of Punjab for Population Welfare, office 6 September 2018. He is from Jamsher Kalan, near Kanganpur Tehsil, Chunian District Kasur Punjab Pakistan.


Muhammad Hashim Dogar defeated Noon League candidate Ahsan Raza Khan and independent candidate Sardar Waqas Hasan Mokal in the 2018 general election to become an MPA and then became the Provincial Minister for Population Welfare in chief Minister Usman Bazdar's cabint. Earlier, his father Sardar Muhammad Ashiq Dogar had been Two Time MNA and one time MPA. His brother Javed Ashiq Dogar has also contested the election. Hashim Dogar was educated at Aitchison College, Lahore and later joined the Pakistan Army and then retired in 2015 and contested elections.

Political career[]

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Constituency PP-177 (Kasur-IV) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[1]

On 27 August 2018, he was inducted into the provincial Punjab cabinet of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar without any ministerial portfolio.[2] On 6 September 2018, he was appointed as Provincial Minister of Punjab for population welfare.[3]
