Muhammad Khalil Akhtar (born 15 April 1984) is a Pakistani sports shooter. He competed in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2020 Summer Olympics Tokyo. He was also the flag-bearer at the Opening Ceremony along with Mahoor Shahzad.[1] After receiving an Olympic scholarship, he qualified at the 2019 International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Rio, where he finished sixth.[2]

Khalil Akhtar finished sixth in the men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.[3]
