Muhammad Shamsul Haque
Muhammad Shamsul Haque was a Bangladesh politician who served as the Foreign Minister from March 1977 to March 1982.[1]
Biography[]
Haque was born in Laksam, Cumilla. Haque was the Education Minister of Pakistan from 1969 to 1971 under General Yahya Khan.[2][3] He served under President Ziaur Rahman. He along with Zia formulated the plan for the formation of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) in 1980.[4]
