Municipal Public Library Machado de Assis localized in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul state.[1] The Library building was built in 1908 in Gothic German. Earlier worked as Evangelical School (1909 to 1921) and was later occupied by several families. This building was built as public property in 1978, and February 18, 1982, was delivered to the population as permanent seat of the municipal Public Library.
