"My Heart Goes Boom (La Di Da Da) " is a song by German-French dance pop act French Affair . It was released in January 2000 as the lead single from their debut album Desire . The song became a major hit worldwide, reaching the top five in Denmark, France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. It topped the charts in Germany and Austria. Although the song is in English , it contains a verse sung in French .
