Naayattu (transl. Hunting) is a 1980 Indian Malayalam-language action film written and directed by Sreekumaran Thampi. It is a remake of the 1973 Hindi film Zanjeer.[1][2] The film stars Jayan, Prem Nazir, Sukumari and Adoor Bhasi. This is Jayan 100th film appearance. This film was a big box office hit of Jayan. This is the only film in which Prem Nazir played a supporting role at his superstardom under Jayan as supreme hero. In other films Prem Nazir & Jayan are co-actors. The film's musical score was created by Shyam.[3][4]
