Georgia (/ɔːə/ in BrE or /ˈɔːrə/ (About this soundlisten) in AmE) is the Western exonym for the country in the Caucasus natively known as Sakartvelo (/sʌkʌrtvɛlɔː/ Georgian: საქართველო, [sakʰartʰvɛlɔ] (About this soundlisten)).
