Georgia (/dʒɔːdʒə/ in BrE or /ˈdʒɔːrdʒə/ (listen) in AmE) is the Western exonym for the country in the Caucasus natively known as Sakartvelo (/sʌkʌrtvɛlɔː/ Georgian: საქართველო, [sakʰartʰvɛlɔ] (listen)).
