The Nana-Barya Faunal Reserve is located in the Central African Republic. It was established in 1952..[1] The reserve is named after the Nana Barya River which borders it in the north.
This reserve covers an area of 2,314 km2 (893 sq mi). Since 2005, the protected area is considered a Lion Conservation Unit.[2]
