Narayan Prakash Saud (commonly known as NP Saud), a member of Nepali Congress, assumed the post of the Minister of Irrigation on 25 February 2014 under Sushil Koirala-led government.[1][2][3]

He was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha in the 1999 election on behalf of the Nepali Congress.[4] Saud is the NC candidate in the Kanchanpur-2 constituency for the 2008 Constituent Assembly election.[5] Saud was defeated in the December 2017 election.[6]
