Navajo Butte
Navajo Butte (77°58′S 162°3′E / 77.967°S 162.050°ECoordinates: 77°58′S 162°3′E / 77.967°S 162.050°E) is a sandstone butte which displays large-scale cross bedding, rising from the south-central part of , Royal Society Range, in Victoria Land. Named by , New Zealand Geological Survey party leader in the area, 1987–88, after the famous Navajo sandstone of Utah.
