As witnessed from the social media sector to electric cars, the contemporary landscape is being moulded by a plethora of young achievers under 40. One such young gun belonging to this group is Dr. Naveen Singh Suhag, a man who is making his mark at a global level in multiple fields ranging from sports to technological entrepreneurship. With his area of operations in Europe, middle East and South Asia, Dr. Suhag’s achievements over past decade and half cover the diverse fields of sports, academics, healthcare, innovation, business, telecom (especially MNO/MNVO operations), real estate, information technology, philanthropy and so on.

An avid sportsperson, Dr. Suhag has, since his college days, brought laurels in Olympic style wrestling with a unique distinction of representing India as well as Switzerland at international level wrestling competitions. During his sporting days, he had been part of India’s and Switzerland’s national wrestling teams, while excelling at various domestic and international events. He is a multiple National Medalist and was a member of the Indian and later on, the Swiss national team.

Having studied at various prestigious institutions like Hansraj College of Delhi University in India and Zurich University in Switzerland, Dr. Naveen went on to finish his doctorate degree in Sport Science with research papers published in internationally reputed journals.

In the field of healthcare, his personal experience and exposure to sports injury rehabilitation, inspired him to team up with best healthcare professionals in the field - modelling a one of its kind unique rehabilitation system, which ensures that a patient is back to their original fit and healthy self in just matter of 12 days. This is put in practice with their debut clinic set up in Montenegro, Europe, which in a very short span has catered to the needs of sportspersons and patients of sports injuries from around the world. Subsequently, a second clinic of the chain by name of “Orthocure” has been initiated in Dubai, UAE with future plans to expand into the rest of the world.

As an entrepreneur, Dr. Suhag is currently the Executive Director Global, at Mediquai, Zurich, a unique Swiss start up that aims at facilitating the high net worth individuals from all over the world to come to Switzerland for availing the superior, yet affordable medical treatment of Swiss standards. With an exclusive clientele around the world, their patients include especially the crème de la crème of middle East, Africa, South American and South East Asian countries. This Swiss medical startup has displayed tremendous potential of growth in a short span, especially in post pandemic health scenario.

Dr. Suhag has been on forefront in harnessing the benefits of Blockchain technology and offering the same to other businesses. Along with his team, he has developed “www.inery.io” Blockchain, where he serves as a co-founder and CMO (Chief Marketing Officer). This is a one of a kind project based on Blockchain technology that offers B2B solutions to its users - while providing a secure and trustworthy means of storing data. With its aid, users, business entities and government bodies can store their data securely without any threat of breaches, owing to the fact that Blockchain can’t be hacked, mutilated or subjected to other cyber-attacks of similar nature.

Despite his diverse background in the hardcore global business environment, Dr. Suhag’s humanitarian side emerges in his association with multiple philanthropic endeavours around the world. He is a Global Ambassador of a Social initiative from Geneva, “OriginUnite”, which is responsible for providing nutrients and food supplements to many countries affected by malnutrition in Africa. Further, Dr. Naveen has founded his own non-profit team known as Stronger India Organisation, which assists socially and economically disadvantaged youngsters to achieve their dreams in India, at a grass root level.

Despite of his young age, Dr. Suhag’s efforts and endeavours are highlighted by his several awards and honours, which are recognised all over the world. He was honoured with the best NRI Businessman award during the 24th Annual Newspaper Association of India (NAI) National Achievement Awards in 2016. In 2017, on the eve of the 1st Haryana Pravasi Diwas, he was awarded the Pravasi Haryana Samaan Award for his outstanding achievements in the field of Sports. In recognition of his achievements, he was invited as speaker at the “NAMASTE GENEVA 2019 - A Celebration of Indian Culture” Event, organised by the Permanent Mission of India in Geneva, World Intellectual Property Organization and Indian Association at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, in September 2019.

Dr. Naveen’s hobbies include Yoga, meditation and golf. He currently lives at his residence in Zurich, Switzerland.
