Ned Porteous (born 7 July 1994) is a British actor. He is known for playing the recurring role of Mark Fowler in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and the role of Joe Tate in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.

Career[]

Porteous made his acting debut during an episode of the BBC medical drama Holby City as Rufus Lucas on 15 September 2015.[1] He then featured in a 13 Episode stint in the BBC soap EastEnders as Mark Fowler between 11 August and 9 September 2016.[2]

On 13 September 2017, he started in the ITV soap Emmerdale playing the part of young businessman Tom Waterhouse, a name which turned out to be an alias, his real name being Joseph Tate.[3]
