Neolepetopsoidea is the name of a taxonomic superfamily which is now considered to be a synonym of Lottioidea.[2] Previously Neolepetopsoidea was considered to be a family of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks within the clade Patellogastropoda.[3]

Families[]

Families within the superfamily Neolepetopsoidea according to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005) include:

(Families that are exclusively fossil are indicated with a dagger: †)

According to the World Register of Marine Species, Neolepetopsoidea was synonymized with Lottioidea, so all these three families were moved to the superfamily Lottioidea.[2]
