Neurocomputing is one of the oldest (1989) and most pioneering international journals focused in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Computation. Independent scientometric studies noted that despite being one of the most productive journals in the field,[1] it has kept its reputation across the years intact and plays an important role in leading the research in the area.[2] The journal is published by Elsevier. It is abstracted and indexed in Scopus and Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2020 impact factor is 5.719.[3] The paper is also ranks in the Q1 ranking for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Applications in SJR "Scientific Journal Ranking". and ranks Q1 in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in JCR (Thomson Reuters).
