New Educational College (NEC) was founded in 1961 and is a private secondary school in Bel Air, Rivière Sèche, Mauritius.^{[citation needed]}

Its objectives are to provide education to the children of Bel Air, Rivière Sèche and the surrounding villages.^{[citation needed]}

More than eight thousand pupils have been educated at the NEC since its debut.^{[citation needed]}
