New England Museum Association
New England Museum Association (NEMA) is a member service regional organization representing museum professionals and the museum community in New England. It is associated with the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). The group's headquarters are in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Mission Statement NEMA inspires and connects people engaged with the museum field, provides tools for innovative leadership, and empowers museums to sustain themselves as essential to their communities.
Museums New England NEMA has created a new website, MuseumsNewEngland.org, to promote member museums to potential visitors, event planners, and tourism entities. NEMA institutional members are may list their organizations for free. Listings are currently searchable by location, discipline, and events and programs offered.
