All episodes exist in the BBC Archives, either has telerecordings or as their original 625 line videotape masters, or even a mix of both. Despite this, the full serial has never been publicly released online or onto DVD since it was broadcast, not even when Simply Media distributed various other surviving Dickens serials produced by the BBC between 1958 and 1969 (i.e. Bleak House and Great Expectations). No clips from the episodes have been released either, leaving its visuals largely unknown. Two photographs (a production still and a front page Radio Times listing, both focusing exclusively on Martin Jarvis as Nicholas) are available.
