Nireus (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Nireus (Ancient Greek: Νιρεύς) may refer to the following personages:
- Nireus, a son of Poseidon and Canace, daughter of Aeolus. He was the brother of Hopleus, Epopeus, Aloeus and Triops.[1]
- Nireus, king of Syme[2]
- Nireus, a companion of Heracles.[citation needed]
