Noah McBeth (born April 27, 1991 in Heidelberg, Germany), is the son of a German music manager and an American fashion model. He is better known by his stage name NoMBe. McBeth holds both German and US citizenship and is currently working as a Independent recording artist, composer and record producer based in Los Angeles as well as Hawaii.[1][2]

Career[]

Noah grew up in Germany and starting with the age of 6, he received a classic piano education by the Russian concert pianist Nathalia Worm in Germany. After graduation from high school in Germany in 2010 he left Germany to stay with his mother in Florida and he studied Music in Miami from 2011.[citation needed]

NoMBe released his 18-track debut album in 2018, "They Might’ve Even Loved Me" now under TH3RD BRAIN Records. His song "Wait", premiered worldwide on the popular Australian radio station Triple J.[3] NoMBe calls his music psychedelic infused electro-soul"

In February 2018, it was announced that NoMBe was selected to Sirius XM's Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour, along with Mikky Ekko and Mansionair, an 18-city North American tour, which ran from April to May 2018.[4]

Multiple songs gained airplay around the world, including "Man Up", "Wait",[5] "Freak Like Me", "Drama" and "Milk & Coffee".

In April 2018, McBeth released “Can’t Catch Me” which was selected to be the theme for Pharrell's HBO docu-series Outpost.[6] McBeth has had multiple syncs in the TV series Ballers.[7]

In July, McBeth released an EP with fellow TH3RD BRAIN musician Thutmose. The two have previously collaborated to create "Run Wild", which was selected as EA Sports FIFA 18's official "World Cup" commercial track.[8]

His 2018 full-length debut, They Might’ve Even Loved Me, earned praise from NPR, Billboard, Afropunk, WWD, Complex, and Flaunt Magazine. Elton John featured him in Rocket Hour, and Pharrell Williams championed him on OTHERTONE and selected “Can’t Catch Me” as the theme for his HBO documentary series OUTPOST. Other syncs followed on Shameless, Ozark, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, The Resident, Ballers, and in Kylie Jenner’s "Life of Kylie".

The Rolling Stone Magazin dedicated a page in 2020 to him under the title “Weirdo” is the Song You Need to Know Right Now | Rolling Stone .

CHROMATOPIA.

In 2020 his US tour was canceled due to corona. Despite this, he used the time to creatively realign himself and during 2020, he rented an Animal Farm in Sunland, CA. where he assembled CHROMATOPIA. It garnered acclaim from PAPER Magazine, American Songwriter, and OnesTo Watch. Beginning of 2021 NOMBE moved from Hollywood CA to Hawai where he built his new studio. He is currently working on his 3rd Album.
