Northern Portrait are a Danish indie pop band formed in the summer of 2007 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Within two weeks of joining MySpace the band were contacted by Matinée Records, who released "" EP in March 2008. The original lineup consisted of singer Stefan Larsen, drummer Michael Sørensen and guitarist .^[1] This band released one more EP () in September 2008 before releasing their debut album, , in January 2010, also on .^[2]
