Office of the Special Envoy on Holocaust Issues

The Office of the Special Envoy on Holocaust Issues is an office in the United States State Department dedicated to returning to Holocaust-era victims their lost property, and monitoring anti-Semitism going forward.[1] The office includes a Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues and a Special Adviser for Holocaust Issues.

The current[1] Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues is Cherrie Daniels, who was appointed August 19, 2019.[2]

The prior[2] Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues is Thomas K. Yazdgerdi, who was appointed August 22, 2016.[3]
