Oggy and the Cockroaches: The Movie (also known as Oggy et les Cafards: Le Film in French) is a 2013 French animated anthology comedy film directed and written by Olivier Jean-Marie,[3] that premiered in France on August 7, 2013 to May 20-7.[4] The film is based on the series Oggy and the Cockroaches and also has no dialogue, like the series. This is the last film Olivier Jean-Marie made before his death on May 13, 2021.

Plot

When the Earth is made, single-cell organisms have been formed by matter. A Oggy-like amoeba was made from small pieces. It has floated in the water and comes up against three small forms of cockroach, Dee Dee, Marky, & Joey. The blue form pursues them and they evolve into animals and rise towards the ocean. Now the center has started.

Oggy Magnon

200 million years later, when the world was made there was a village with many cats. In the meantime, Oggy Magnon, the chief's son, was summoning the others to a meeting when suddenly, he saw fire in the hands of the village chief. He was afraid of fire due to this: When he was young and a storm struck out burning a tree, he curiously went to investigate a torch, only to get burned when he put his hand in there, causing him to cry. Meanwhile, Joey Magnon plans to take the fire so he can rule the village, but Joey sneezed and the fire blew out. The Village chief thought Oggy was the culprit and was really angry at him. Oggy is forced to go to the volcano with Jack Magnon to restart the fire unaware they're being followed by the cockroaches who're determined to stop them. When they reach the volcano, they choose who had to go by playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors". Oggy "lost" against Jack, so he had to go restore the fire. But the cockroaches mess everything up, making themselves and the Magnon fall, leaving Jack behind. Inside the volcano was a jungle that's ruled by a dog named Bob Magnon and his servants, who tied the cat up, bringing it to Bob. Olivia Magnon saved Oggy in time, & drives the dogs away. When she greets him, Oggy let out a cry as if he were in trouble, and then he was unconscious. When he woke up, he found out that he was in Olivia's flower house, her hideout from the trollish enemies. She had also put leaves to recover Oggy's feet. In that time, Olivia left him for a few minutes to something, then he fell fast asleep. He dreamt about Olivia for a few moments and then is woken by the roaches, so he tried to hit them until Olivia returned. Later, The scene was switched to the two cats walking. When the two were looking at the beautiful sunset, making it evident they both fell in love with each other, as when they were looking the sunset, they entwined their tails. In the meantime, Jack had built a ladder & also found the two which then resulted in a major problem for these guys. The cockroaches had told Bob that they have been to Olivia's flower house and they know the location. For this, they kidnapped Jack and Olivia. Meanwhile, Oggy was out to occupy himself. When he found out that the two were missing, he cried, then started finding them. Olivia told Oggy Magnon that the only way to free them is to use fire, but he told her that he was afraid of fire, so she raised the stakes. If he would save the two using fire, he would be the hero of her life. Oggy starts daydreaming of what would happen if he had saved her and he accepted the deal, going back to the village. Oggy Magnon found her stones from earlier and built the fire. He had saved Jack and Olivia. When the two males were escaping from the army, the female refused to come. Then Oggy told Olivia that her flower house was burned down to ashes, so she decided to come with them. Bob tries to follow them out of the volcano, but they let go of the bridge once at the top, along with Bob who falls to his death. Back at the village, Joey, who had earlier stolen Olivia's fire, was the chief for a few minutes until he sneezed again and he, Marky and Dee Dee are chased by the tribe. Oggy then uses the rocks he bought recover the village's fire. At this cost, the young Oggy Magnon became the next chief of the village.

Prince Oggy II

The next story takes place a few centuries later in 1350, in a good-looking kingdom as they reveal a new statue of Oggy I who had defeated the Cockroach king. Trumpets were being blown as the king was handing his sword down to his prince named Oggy II. But after the sword was broken by an accident, the prince never met someone who could actually be capable of becoming a princess. The King (Prince Oggy's father) requested him to ride a horse, fight a dragon, and raid the enemy's kingdom. The prince replied negatively about those things. He said he would fail doing all that stuff. When the princess audition started, no lady became the next princess. The prince and the commander in chief, Jack, came alongside with him. If they would hunt animals they would get money. But they did not know that there was someone living in this forest. Prince Oggy wanted to take the butterfly. Jack was hunting for dangerous animals for a big loot. A shadow-like appeared, disappearing the wild boar and the second animal. The third animal was almost gotten when a person kicked Jack. When they were fighting it was revealed that the guardian was Olivia. She called the animals to punish Jack, but the prince had finally found a perfect match. But she was not happy because the young prince had captured the butterfly he was trying to capture. Then he let the butterfly go. She then became happy of what Oggy did. Olivia told the prince that he would be a nicer man if he had carried her to her own house and so he did. More animals punished Jack, but Oggy liked the place. Olivia gave the prince a piece of cloth so he would not forget her. When he came back to the castle he told his father and his mother that he had finally found a perfect match. The King and the Queen were very happy on his son, knowing that he found Olivia as the match. Meanwhile, Black Knight Joey (the son of the Cockroach King) and his companions have devastated an evil plan to take over the kingdom & avenge his father. Olivia was captured and it was up to Oggy and Jack to save her once and for all. Oggy and Jack got in and rescued Olivia. When the prince and Olivia met again, they were going round and round. Using the curtain ropes was a brilliant idea to get out, but the cockroaches exploded the bridge to the castle and outside. Then the guardian called the birds to carry them to the other side. They were almost pronounced prince and princess when Oggy had to fight Joey again. The prince won, and they lived happily ever after, except for the evil cockroaches, who were locked up in a cage on Bob's collar. Then a new statue of Oggy II defeating the cockroaches is seen next to Oggy I's statue.
