Okko is a Russian media-services provider and production company headquartered in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, founded in 2013.[1]

The company's primary business is its subscription-based streaming service which offers online streaming of a library of films and television programs, including those produced in-house. The service is available worldwide.[citation needed]

The service was launched as OTT-platform. It is also a studio which combines the business of production and distribution of Russian-language content across the world.[2] Okko's monthly audience is 1.5 million people.[citation needed]

The main distinctive feature of Okko service is absence of any advertising. Today the service offers 10 thematic subscription packages, including Amediateka, Russian film collection, world blockbusters, art-house and content for children. In 2017 the company nearly doubled their revenue up to 1,38 billion rubles (775 million rubles in 2016).
