Olenivka (Ukrainian: Оленівка; Russian: Оленовка) is an urban-type settlement in Volnovakha Raion (district) in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine, 20.5 km SW from the center of the city of Donetsk. Population: 4,534 (2020 est.)[1]

The conflict between Ukraine and pro-Russian forces, that started in April 2014, has brought along both civilian and military casualties.[2][3][4][5][citation needed]
