Oshakati West

Oshakati West is an electoral constituency in the Oshana Region of Namibia. It contains the western parts of the town of Oshakati and has 20,015 inhabitants.[1] The Okatana River separates Oshakati West from the Oshakati East constituency.[2]

Politics[]

In the 2010 regional elections, SWAPO's won the constituency with 5,156 votes. He defeated challengers was of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (243 votes), of the Congress of Democrats (70 votes), of the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (62 votes) and of SWANU (22 votes).[3]
