Płytnica [pwɨtˈnit͡sa] (German: Plietnitz)[1] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Szydłowo, within Piła County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[2] It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Szydłowo, 17 km (11 mi) north of Piła, and 100 km (62 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.
