Paparore

Paparore is a small coastal native settlement near the north of Waipapakauri, adjacent to Rangaunu Harbour.[1] It has a cemetery.[2]

A New Zealand Labour Party branch was formed there in 1936.[3]

Paparore School is a contributing primary (years 1–6) school. It has a decile rating of 3[4] and a roll of 140[5] as of November 2021. There was a native school in the area in 1915.[6]
