Papsukkal

Papsukkal was a messenger god in the Akkadian pantheon. He is known chiefly from late sources from the Seleudic period. His wife was Amasagnudi,[1][2] and he acted as both messenger and gatekeeper for the rest of the pantheon. A sanctuary, the is identified from the Mesopotamian site of .

Papsukkal was syncretized with Ninshubur, the sukkal of the goddess Inanna.

Papsukkal was the regent of the tenth month in the Babylonian calendar.
