The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding (also known as Minister for Safeguarding) is a junior role in the British Home Office. It is currently held by Rachel Maclean MP who took office in September 2021, succeeding Victoria Atkins.^[1]

• Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse
• Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority
• sexual violence including the rape review
• anti-social behaviour
• prostitution
• stalking
• online internet safety/WeProtect
• victims of terrorism
• Security Industry Authority
• safeguarding and DBS checks for COVID volunteers and community groups
