Concurrent with his college career, Pita played the 2016 and 2018 seasons with The Villages SC of the Premier Development League, appearing in 20 games, along with a handful of other appearances.[6] During the 2017 season, Pita played for Chattanooga FC in the National Premier Soccer League.[7] Pita started out the season as the team's back-up keeper but eventually won the starting position; making 9 league appearances. In 2019, Pita played for FC Wichita of the National Premier Soccer League.[8]
Pita was drafted 24th overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles FC.[9][10] He entered training camp with the MLS side, but was ultimately not offered a contract.
After Pita left LAFC, he joined North Carolina FC of the USL Championship for the remainder of their preseason. He signed with North Carolina FC on February 17, 2020.[5] He made his debut with North Carolina FC on September 26, 2020, earning a 2–1 win over Birmingham Legion FC.[11]
On February 2, 2021, Pita announced his retirement from the professional game, concurrently announcing that he would join Sporting Kansas City as the head goalkeeping coach for the academy.[12]
