The first known account of the direct quote "Peace through superior firepower" comes from Star Trek The Next Generation (season 1; episode 20). It is the motto of the weapons dealers from the planet Minos. Spoken by the automated sales recording.
Peace Through Superior Firepower is a music DVD by the English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth, released in 1 November 2005[2] through Roadrunner Records. The title references the popular T-shirt slogan featured in the 1986 film Aliens.
The DVD contains a full concert filmed on 2 April 2005 at Elysée Montmartre, Paris. It also contains six music videos and extra features including footage of a signing session and a "Shockumentary".
