This was broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 and featured in Rolf's Cartoon Club on ITV. It was also broadcast in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by Premiere TV and appeared in many film festivals all round the world including the London Film Festival 1992.

Pear People in Prisoner[]

The second cartoon (1993) by John Kay finds our bad pear in prison and trying various ways to escape. Of course he is always unsuccessful in a disastrous way. Length 6:30 minutes.

It featured at many festivals (such as The Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Cardiff and the Tokyo Kinder Filmfest) and was included in the British Council's Future Images program.

Coming from this is Split'n'Melba, a new cartoon series.
