Pecksuot

Pecksuot (died 1624) was a warrior of a Massachusett tribe led by Chickatawbut in the early 17th century until his death in 1624. He was killed in the battle at Wessagusset Colony by Miles Standish.[1] His death has been immortalized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem The Courtship of Miles Standish.
