Pepinia bulbosa is a species in the genus Pepinia. It was originally described by Lyman Bradford Smith in 1955 as Pitcairnia bulbosa and later moved to the genus Pepinia by and in 1988.[1]

This species is found in Colombia in dry rich soil in crevices of granite rock. It is also found in Venezuela.[2]
