Peter Dahl

Peter Dahl (16 February 1934 – 17 May 2019)[1] was a Swedish painter, sculptor, and printmaker.

Born in Norway, Dahl came to Sweden as a child in February 1939, when his parents settled in the Stockholm district of Bromma. Dahl became a Swedish citizen in 1954.

He was educated at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1958–1963 under Lennart Rodhe and has been head teacher at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg 1971–73 and professor at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1975–79. He also taught at Gerlesborg School of Fine Art from 1959 to 1969.

He illustrated En bok för alla's 1989 edition of Carl Michael Bellman's songs.[2]
