Petite size

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In fashion and clothing, a petite size is a U.S. standard clothing size designed to fit women of a short, smaller build of height 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) or less.[1][2]

Frequency[]

The average height of an American woman is roughly 5 ft 4 in (163 cm), thus about half of the population of women suit the petite definition.[citation needed]

In the UK and throughout Europe the average height of a woman is around 5 ft 7 in (170 cm).[citation needed]
