The film has a 27% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 26 reviews with an average score of 4.5/10.[4] Jeffrey M. Anderson of Common Sense Media awarded the film two stars out of five.[5] Lorry Kikta of Film Threat awarded it eight stars out of ten.[6] Nick Allen of RogerEbert.com gave the film one and a half stars.[7] David Ehrlich of IndieWire graded the film a C-.[8]
