Philip Vallance (cricketer, born 1761)

Philip Vallance was born in 1761, married Maria Fayres Killick in 1789 and died in 1825. He lived in Hanover Crescent in Brighton. Philip and his two brothers, James and John, owned the West Street Brewery in Brighton which had been established in 1769. They also ran a coal merchants business from the same location. He was an English professional cricketer who made 7 known appearances in first-class cricket matches from 1791 to 1792.
