"Piano Rap" is a song recorded by Kosovo-Albanian rapper Ledri Vula released as the lead single from his debut studio album, 10/10 (2020). The Albanian-language rap song was written by the aforementioned rapper. It was produced by Butrint Buçinca and Duja, and mastered by Johan Bejerholm. Commercially, "Piano Rap" experienced success in Albania and went on to the country's number one The Top List chart.[1] Created by using a 360° camera, an official music video was shot in Kosovo and uploaded on 1 February 2020 onto YouTube in order to accompany the single's release.[2][3]

Background and composition[]

With a duration time of three minutes and thirty one seconds, "Piano Rap" was solely written by Ledri Vula with a production helmed by Albanian producers Butrint Buçinca and Duja.[4] Swedish producer Johan Bejerholm was additionally hired for the record's mastering process.[4] In terms of the musical notation, the Albanian-language rap song is performed in the key of A minor in common time with an allegro tempo of 129 beats per minute.[5] It lyrically focuses on Ledri's struggles for escaping the prison of materialism and avoiding losing yourself.

Music video[]

"Piano Rap" was released as the lead single from Ledri's debut studio album 10/10 (2020) on digital platforms and to streaming services on 1 February 2020 through Loudcom Media. An accompanying music video was further premiered to the official YouTube channel of the rapper on the same day.[6][7][8]
