Pierre Novellie is a South African born comedian who grew up on the Isle of Man. Pierre was a member and eventually Vice President of the Cambridge Footlights Revue whilst at University.[1]
He is known for his work as a comedian, actor, and writer, having recently been seen and heard on The Mash Report,[2][3] Chris Ramsey's Stand Up Central [4] and The Now Show.[5] He was also a guest on BBC Radio 4’s The Rest is History hosted by Frank Skinner.[6] Other highlights include appearing on the Joke Thieves pilot for BBC Two opposite Marcus Brigstocke, BBC Three’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live [7] and 4OD’s comedy series Taxi Gags.[2] Pierre’s writing credits include Spitting Image, Mock The Week, The Mash Report, ITV’s Newszoids, Adam Buxton’s Shed of Christmas.[2] In addition to his television and radio credits and his own live shows, Pierre has supported Frank Skinner, Hal Cruttenden and Gary Delaney on tour.

He currently co-hosts the popular podcast BudPod alongside British Comedian Phil Wang.[8] Pierre previously hosted a regular podcast called My Favourite Podcast.[9][10]
Awards[]
Pierre has been nominated for several Chortle Awards and won the Amused Moose Laugh Off in 2013 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.[11] In 2014 he was nominated for industry web-site Chortle’s Best Newcomer award.[2] Pierre was nominated for Best Club Comic at the 2016 Chortle Awards and appeared in the Channel 4’s Comedy Blap Outsiders later that year.[2]
