Pieter Muysken (11 April 1950 – 6 April 2021) was a Bolivian-born Dutch linguist and academic at the Radboud University Nijmegen.[1][2][3] He was elected a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1995.[4] Muysken won several prizes, including the Spinoza Prize in 1998 and a 2.5 million Euro ERC Advanced Grant in 2008.[5]
Muysken died on 6 April 2021, aged 70.[3]
