Pilchowice [pilxɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Mauer) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wleń, within Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is part of the historical region of Silesia and was administered by Germany until 1945. The village lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Wleń, 16 km (10 mi) south of Lwówek Śląski, and 100 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
