Poeltiaria is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Lecideaceae.[1] It was circumscribed in 1984 by lichenologist Hannes Hertel, with assigned as the type species.[2]

The taxon once occupying the name Poeltiaria subcontinua (Nyl.) Hertel & Fryday (2014) has since been transferred to the monotypic genus Notolecidea, as .[4]
