Pogonolycus elegans is a species of eelpouts (Perciformes fish in the family Zoarcidae). It is the type species of its genus. It is found in the Southeast Pacific and Southwest Atlantic along the southern Patagonian and Falkland Islands slope break (Chile and Argentina).
