Poniat [ˈpɔɲat] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piątnica, within Łomża County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Piątnica, 11 km (7 mi) north-east of Łomża, and 66 km (41 mi) west of the regional capital Białystok.
